River Side Homestay is situated on the banks of the river Hemavathi in the eastern part of Sakleshpur. At a comfortable drive from Bangalore , Hassan or Mysore, a fertile land with vivid geography and amazing bird life. River Side Homestay is your perfect experience of the rural culture and tradition of Karnataka and its pristine natural beauty, dotted around the home-stay there are various spots to visit including the Gorur Dam, a national treasure in the form of the ancient Hoysala temple of Nageshvara-Chennakeshava build in 1200 AD and the amazing ruins of Shettihalli church. The Holy Rosary Church build in 1860 submerged in the backwaters of Hemavathi.
